Toptextile is a company in The Hague, Netherlands, that imports textile and ready made garments from Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is the place to be for garment production. More than 60% of the people in Bangladesh are involved in garment business and garment production. Mainly t-shirts, polo pique, sweaters, men's shirts, ladies blouses and pants are produced. Back in the early days of production it used to be the basic solid colour t-shirt or a 5 pocket denim pant with garment wash only. But Bangladesh has evolved itself and is producing fancy fashion items with special fabric, fancy yarns and different washings. 

The reason that Bangladesh has become so popular is because they are producing for very competetive prices. Bangladesh is one of the cheapest countries in the world. In the capital Dhaka alone there are more than 6000 factories who produce on average 10,000 pcs per day.

All these productions will be trucked to the harbour city of the country Chittagong, where the containers are loaded on the vessels to Eruope.

The population of Bangladesh benefit substantially from this export and many families are dependant on the income which is generated from garment production. Because of the fact that the people can build a financially independant future, the European Union promotes business from Bangladesh by allowing the import in Europe duty and quota free.

Stocklots Duty Landed

Stocklots Duty Landed are garment orders produced in Bangladesh, shipped to Europe and already imported. This is called duty landed, as all duties are cleared and the goods are in the warehouse in Europe. These goods can be trucked anywhere to Europe. At this moment we have a broad collection of mens, ladies and childres garments. The collection varies from solid t-shirts, polo piques, sweaters, mens shirts, ladies blouses and pants.

 

Stocklots Bangladesh

We have our own office and set up in Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Dhaka, Bangladesh with a vast knowledge and know how of the local market. With all our contacts we know exactly where we can find the best stocklots in Bangladesh.

Because of our good contacts and good reputation in the market we regularly receive offers for ready made garment stocklots from our factories. This can vary from 2000 t-shirts to half a million denim jeans. These are always productions of a very good quality, but for which the initial buyer has decided to cancel. When we receive an offer from a factory we sent our own quality controllers and merchandisers to inspect the garments and to visit the factory. When we have checked and approved the quality based on our standards as well as international law and regulations, than we offer this stocklot to our clients. Our clients receive all information about the garments: price, quantity, assortment, colours, size spec and off course a sample as well as a colour swatch.

If you decide to purchase one or more lots, than we could import the goods or operate on your behalf as an agent for a quality control, inline inspection and final inspection.

Stocklots are very popular and are regularly sold very quickly. This is because a stocklot is offered with a substantial discount on the orginal buying price up to 80% of the production cost. The factory wants to sell the goods quickly; they accept a big discount because they want to have the goods sold quickly. This is how we can offer mens shirts, for example, in a beautifull 100% cotton for less than 3,50 euro per piece. Fresh Production

A lot of companies want to buy directly in Bangaldesh. Of course this is possible, but it is very often more complicated than at first expected.

Which factory is suitable, what is the best price, who controls production, who checks that the garments are being exactly produced as ordered, etc etc

On all these questions Toptextile has an answer. We can act as your agent and guide you in the entire purchase process.

The entire production and follow up is guarded by our local office and our own local staff. We have an office with people with experience in garment production and merchandising. They know exactly how to proceed, the risks of a production and how to avoid any mistakes.

Of course we can arrange your inline inspections, as well as any final inspection on your goods, to make sure that the cargo is exactly as per your expectations.
